Account and data deletion

How to request deletion of your account and all your data, what gets deleted, what stays and why.

Last updated:

Your account is yours, and you can ask for it and all of your data to be deleted at any time. This page explains how to ask, what is actually deleted, and what we keep and why.

How to request deletion

Email us from the same email address registered on the platform at the support address shown on the “Contact us” page, with the subject: “Account deletion request”.

Or message us on WhatsApp using the button available on every page, and tell us you want to delete your account.

We will verify that you really own the account before acting — this is for your protection, so that no one else can delete your account.

How long does it take?

We carry out the request within 30 days of verifying your identity, and usually much sooner. We will send you a confirmation once it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email, mobile number and photo.
  • Your department and all of your profile data.
  • Your progress in lessons and your quiz results.
  • Your comments on lessons.
  • Your newsletter and notification subscriptions.
  • The link between your account and Google, if you signed up with it.

What is kept — and why

There are some things we cannot delete, and in all honesty we state them clearly:

  • Payment records and invoices — kept for accounting and legal obligations, and to resolve any dispute over a transaction. They are stored without being linked to your personal data.
  • Unspent wallet balance — if you have a balance you haven’t spent yet, contact us before deletion. Deleting the account means you give it up.
  • Backups — your data may remain in backups for up to 90 days after deletion, after which it disappears permanently as the backups rotate.

Before you delete

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, you will lose access to the content immediately, and the remaining period is not refunded except under the refund policy.

If you only want to stop notifications, or end your subscription without deleting your account — contact us and we will do it for you without deletion.

Android app

The same request works whether you use the website or the Android app — it is one account, and deleting it removes it from both.

This page is part of the agreement between NMA — National Medical Academy and you as a user of the platform. If anything is unclear, message us and we will clarify it before you subscribe.
